At Blackbird Institute, we endeavour to video your wedding day to capture the important events as well as unseen background interactions. These add to the wholeness of the day and provide a freshness upon viewing the finished DVD. All weddings are shot in high definition with a combination of roving and tripod shots. Interviews are conducted with the Bride and Groom as well as the guests who attend the day. The day is captured from the Brides point of view and includes pre-wedding preparation, the wedding ceremony, reception and cutting of the cake, plus other events that you nominate. While Blackbird Institute retain full creativity over the editing, you have input with specific shots, music and composition of the wedding events to be videoed. Included in the Wedding Package...
At Blackbird Institute, we want you to have an awesome wedding DVD capturing the memories of your special day. That is why we shoot the whole day in high definition and apply high end special effects and transitions in the finished product.
We offer one variable wedding package which covers the whole day and provides the Bride and Groom with one high standard finished DVD between 35 and 45 minutes in length. The full wedding day package covers from the preparation of the Bride to the reception after the first dance. The finished package includes the following:
1. A choice of DVD cases as pictured below (DVD case of timber is an extra £25)
2. Two final, edited, gloss colour printed "A" grade quality DVD's. One of these is in the previously chosen luxury wedding case, while the second is packaged in a regular black plastic DVD case with a coloured cover sleeve insert.
3. A bottle of celebration wine or champagne to enjoy while watching the DVD together.
Price of Wedding Package
1. You pay a 50 percent booking fee/deposit of £450 to secure the date (£200 of which is non-refundable if booking is cancelled.)
2. You sign a wedding video contract explaining how our wedding package is offered to you, its editing process, costs and finished packaging. You also discuss with us what you want in the video and what you don't want. You can even choose your own music.
3. You must pay the balance owing in full prior to the date the wedding.
3. A single camera operator with a high definition camera attends and videos the whole day from the Bride preparIng to at least after the first dance.
4. We then edit the wedding and arrange a brief highlight viewing with you. If you like what we have edited, you sign off on the project and we deliver the wedding package to you a few days later.
5. If you wish to make changes to the finished edited DVD after signing off, you pay a further £200.
6. You may request a second high definition camera operator for an additional charge of £200.
6. You may request a DVD longer than the 30 to 45 minutes included in the standard package for an extra payment of £150.
7. Sikh weddings packages start from £1500.
We are proud of our wedding packages and believe that you will be delighted with our finished product.
The full wedding package is priced at £900 (inclusive of travel and postage) within a 25 mile radius of Rugby. Weddings at further distances may incur a travel charge.

Wedding Promotions for You
One camera operator attends the whole day and videos the wedding from the Bride's perspective. We provide an edited highlight's DVD (35 to 45 minutes in length) of the day's events, including interviews with guests.
You are welcome to discuss other package mixes and variances with us.
We aim to provide a friendly and helpful service including backing music of your choice (if desired) on the DVD.
As professional producers and videographers, we retain full copyright and production rights (unless purchased from us) and full creative production and editorial treatment of the video and resulting DVD and files.
